Is everybody happy now this unsafe eyesore has gone, but where is the new one going and how long will it take?

    Where is the new one? Well, according to the Council they are looking (ahem) at possibilities of a new combined bulidng with library and swimming pool - sometime in the far distant future.

    In the meantime, the Council are taking a ’strictly business approach’ to the land where the old centre used to be - i.e., they’ll sell it to the highest bidder.

    But there’s a lot of people protesting about this…there’ll be meetings in the new year if anyone is interested.
